This initiative aims to raise awareness of road accidents involving pedestrians and to promote prevention and good road behaviour. The project targets mainly Pardubice and Kutná Hora, where Foxconn operates.

After the success of previous editions, which included educational workshops for children and viral videos focusing on the most common crossing mistakes, this year's campaign comes with a new and even more attractive interactive approach. The organisers decided to focus on the youngest road users, as they are the most vulnerable group. Special zebra colouring pages have been prepared for children, which will not only entertain them but also introduce them to the rules of safe road crossing in a non-violent way. They can also look forward to practical key rings, fun quizzes and other small gifts that will be distributed directly to their schools.

The campaign also includes interactive events that will take place both in schools and in their vicinity, where children encounter traffic on a daily basis. These activities aim to teach children in a practical way how to behave when crossing roads and what situations can be risky at pedestrian crossings. Thanks to these events, children can be better prepared for real situations that they may encounter on the roads, which contributes to their safety and confidence when moving in urban environments.

In both cities, billboards depicting a zebra appeared in early September, accompanied by warning signs reading "Beware, zebra!" or "Slow down, zebra approaching!". These visuals are intended to remind pedestrians and drivers to slow down and take extra care near pedestrian crossings. The billboard campaign also links to the website www.pozorzebra.cz, where visitors can find educational videos and instructions on how to behave safely near pedestrian crossings. Visitors to the site can draw attention to particularly risky locations by sharing their own photos.

"Of course, there is also a separate promotion on social media. Foxconn would like to use this campaign to actively promote road safety and pedestrian protection not only in the immediate vicinity of its production facilities, but also throughout the cities where it is based," said Radka Svobodová, Compliance, PR and Communications Manager.

Foxconn, which has been in the Czech Republic for almost a quarter of a century, has long sought to be a good neighbour and support the development of the regions where it operates. "We are a socially responsible company and have long been committed to improving the quality of life for our employees, partners, neighbours and the general public. In short, we want to be a good neighbour for the community, companies and individuals," summarises Radka Svobodová.
