The campaign aims to draw attention to the dangers of traffic accidents involving pedestrians and to promote prevention and the principles of good road behaviour in an attractive way. The project targets mainly Pardubice and Kutná Hora, where Foxconn operates.

During the month of April, billboards depicting the exotic great ape will appear in both cities with the warning "Watch out, zebra!" or "Zebra will not lookout for you!".

This gives pedestrians and drivers a clear signal to slow down or stop before the crossing. The billboard campaign itself also links to the website www.pozorzebra.cz, which contains educational videos and instructions on how to behave near pedestrian crossings. Photographs sent directly by visitors to the website highlight particularly dangerous spots, helping to alert others where to watch out.

"Of course, we also promote it separately on social media. Foxconn would like to use this campaign to actively promote road safety and pedestrian protection not only in the immediate vicinity of its production facilities, but also throughout the cities where it is based," said Radka Svobodová, Compliance, PR and Communications Manager.

After almost twenty-five years of presence in the Czech Republic, Foxconn continues to strive to be the best possible neighbour and contribute its share to the development of the regions in which it operates. In the case of the "Beware the Zebra!" campaign. it is all about safety on the roads and streets of both cities.

"We are a socially responsible company and strive to help and improve life of all employees, partners, neighbours and the general public in the long term. In short, we want to be a good neighbour to communities, companies and individuals," summarised Radka Svobodová.
