Last year’s third year, which we are just closing, was again a record. 85 applicants applied for it, 20 more than last year. Projects selected by a jury of Foxconn employees advanced to the finals.
After ten finalists from the Kutná Hora region presented their ideas, a jury sitting directly on the premises of the Kutná Hora plant selected seven winners on Sunday, 20th February. The highest amount of CZK 70,000 was won by the Association of Volunteer Firefighters from Malín and they will use it for a new cart, which will improve the ability to act of the fire team. CZK 40,000 supported the riding stable in Brambory and the family farm. Another five projects from the areas of charity, sports, culture and social support shared amounts between 10 and 20 thousand crowns.
Ten finalists from Pardubice presented themselves to the jury meeting in the Foxconn race in Pardubice on Saturday, 27th February. In Pardubice, the highest amount of 50 thousand crowns was won by representatives of the KŘIŽOVATKA handicap centre. The project will support the project of accessibility of the centre for the disabled. A check worth CZK 45,000 will go to the CEDR organization to support the Hi-Tec ambulance project for your brain. The remaining amount was distributes by the jurors among six other organizations from several areas.
