The Foxconn X-Day charity competition, organized by Foxconn Czech Republic, once again brought joy and hope to the communities of Pardubice and Kutná Hora.
"Foxconn X-Day is a way for us to support projects that really help," said Radka Svobodová, Compliance, PR and Communications Manager at Foxconn Czech Republic. "It is great to see the enthusiasm and energy that the participants of our charity competition put into their projects. Each project we have supported this year has its own story and a clear goal - to improve the lives of others."
Since 2018, through the Foxconn X-Day competition, Foxconn has been giving space to ideas that might not otherwise have a chance to be implemented. During this time, the competition has already supported more than 100 projects with a total of more than 2.5 million crowns.
This year's final took place on the first weekend in November. On Saturday 2nd November in the Conference Hall of the Automatic Mills in Pardubice, for which we would like to thank Mr. Lukáš Smetana. In Kutná Hora, the final took place on Sunday 3rd November in the impressive baroque refectory of the Central Bohemian Region Gallery - GASK, where the premises were kindly provided by Mrs. Jana Šorfová, the director of the gallery.
The projects were evaluated by juries composed of prominent personalities from both regions, whose expertise and local knowledge contributed to supporting the projects with the greatest impact.
In Pardubice, 250 000 CZK were distributed among the following projects:
The following projects in Kutná Hora received support in the total amount of 250 000 CZK:
Foxconn X-Day is an opportunity for the local community to bring to life ideas and projects that would remain a dream without this support. "I am proud to be a part of these stories. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's competition and I look forward to seeing more inspiring projects and ideas that will help develop Pardubice and Kutná Hora in the years to come, " added Radka Svobodová.
