Foxconn opened the gates of the Kutná Hora division to the public in honour of the 15th anniversary of the start of production in Kutná Hora.

More than two thousand visitors visited the Foxconn Czech Republic premises in Kutná Hora on Saturday 17th June to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the start of production in Kutná Hora. On this day, the company opened its gates not only for employees, but also for the general public and invited guests.
Visitors were treated to a varied all-day programme with live music, a wide range of attractions for children and adults and tours of the entire plant.
Fun for everyone
Children jumped on a giant bouncy castle with a slide, rode RC models or quad bikes, created giant bubbles or modelled balloon animals. There was also the popular face painting and tattooing. Attractions such as 4-in-1 bungee trampolines, large inflatable darts or a football target attracted the attention of the guests. Many people tried archery or the climbing wall. A ride around the whole area in a scenic train was a highlight. And to make matters worse, you could stamp your own commemorative coin in the theme of the celebrations as a souvenir of this festive day.
At the beginning, all the guests were welcomed by John Gallagher, Vice President and Managing Director of the Kutnohorie plant, together with Pavel Kozeny, PR and Communications Manager, who briefly summarized the achievements of our company and thanked all the employees for their great work. Several performances, such as the popular parkour show or the balloon and bubble show, enlivened the programme at the podium.
All this was accompanied by the band Holiday Express, which played a mix of different music genres and styles.
Throughout the day there were sightseeing tours throughout the Kutná Hora division and the interest was really great. Thanks to online booking, over 1,500 places were reserved and other interested parties had the opportunity to reserve their seats directly at the information booth. A total of five tour circuits were conducted. During them, visitors saw different types of production and got a lot of interesting information.
Sweet and savoury snacks and drinks were prepared for the event and on this hot day there was also ice cream.
The Open day and Family day in Kutná Hora for employees, the general public and other invited guests was a success despite the rain showers! The Open Day was the second event for this year's celebrations. The first one was the mega concert of the band Kryštof in May this year, which was again attended by employees and their entourage and many other guests.
