Foxconn has been helping in the non-profit sector in the region for a long time. "We appreciate the work and efforts of people from the non-profit sector. At present, they are a very important support for individuals, groups and entire families. Thanks to the cooperation with MAS Lípa pro venkov, laptops will help exactly where it is needed," said Pavel Kožený, PR and Communication Manager at Foxconn.
From the company, laptops travel via the Lípa Local Action Group Lípa pro Venkov. "We connect the region and we are in intensive contact with non-profit organizations. Therefore, we selected associations across different areas – computers go to volunteer firefighters, charity organizations, but also to the riding stables or museum associations," said the manager of MAS Lípa pro Venkov Radek Tvrdík, followed by Josef Treml representative of the city of Kutná Hora: "The pandemic has accelerated the relocation of many activities to the online world, and the non-profit sector of small organizations often lacks technical equipment. That is why I really appreciate the activities of the company, which has now given them a helping hand."
Foxconn is a partner for individuals and groups in the non-profit sector in both regions where the company operated. In addition to similar activities, it organizes the X-DAY charity competition, in which it distributed more than CZK 400,000 at the beginning of the year.
