In the twenty-seventh year of the Exporter of the Year Award, which evaluates the most successful exporters in 2020, our company has successfully defended second place with an export volume of over 148 billion CZK. First place was taken by Škoda Auto, and Agrofert concern placed third.
The Exporter of the Year award is presented by the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic. Representatives of the companies were awarded on 31st March 2022 in Prague's Czernin Palace. The 2020 award was postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Jan Antonín, CFO, accepted the award on behalf of Foxconn: "I am very appreciative that we have managed to maintain our position among the top three largest exporters in the Czech Republic for a long time. It is a recognition of the great work of all our employees who continually exceed our customers' expectations in both existing and new businesses."
The gala evening was attended by Senate President Miloš Vystrčil, Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Síkely, Minister of Transport Martin Kupka, Deputy Minister of Transport Tomáš Vrbík, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Martin Tlapa, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jiří Šír and Deputy Minister of Defence Daniel Blažkovec.
